If You Like Walk Barefooted From Accra To Kumasi, You’ll Never Be An MP – Haters Bash John Dumelo

Ghanaians have fired shots at aspiring Member of Parliament for the Ayawaso constituency, John Dumelo for walking barefooted to keep his word.

Before the Grand Finale of the National Science & Maths Quiz competition, John Dumelo had promised to walk backward barefooted if his Achimota School lost to Presec. The Grand Finale of the NSMQ took place at the National Theater yesterday.

Three formidable schools, Opoku Ware School, Achimota School and Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School battled it out at the National Theatre.

Much to his dismay, Achimota lost the contest to Presec who are now officially the eighth-time champions of the NSMQ.

As a man of his word, he decided to fulfill his promise. But some people felt his actions was a strategy to win the upcoming Parliamentary elections.
