Celestine Donkor Heavily Descends On Big Churches For Paying Nigerian Gospel Artists More Than Ghanaians To Perform At Their Churches

Ghanaian gospel musician, Celestine Donkor has lashed out at the big churches in Ghana who keep belittling Gospel artists in the Country.

Speaking in a recent interview on Hitz FM, Celestine stated that she was highly disappointed in how most churches in Ghana prioritized Nigerian Gospel artists over their Ghanaian counterparts.

“ I have performed at a lot of shows and I know that Nigerian Gospel artists are paid 10 times more. If a Nigerian artist is getting paid 10k dollars, a Ghanaian artist is paid peanuts to perform at the same event. It’s not fair! They have created a room for Nigerians to shine and that is why they keep getting all the global nominations“. Celestine Donkor stated.
