Ghanaian fashion critic and effeminate socialite, Charlie Dior, has called on Ghanaians to learn not to simply tag people as gay due to their outward appearances.
According to him, there is no ‘look’ that determines if a person is gay or not.
Generally, most Ghanaians believe a man who looks effeminate or a woman who looks hardcore is a homos*xual.
Hence, many are shocked that a manly, handsome guy like Hayford turned out to be into guys.
Reacting to the trending scandal, Charlie Dior said this should teach Ghanaians not to judge a book by its cover when it comes to s*xuality.
“Ghanaians are surprised an alpha male presenting person is queer. This stereotyping often targets effeminate men, masculine-presenting women and nonbinary people, subjecting them to violence that is often associated with queerphobia.
“S*xuality doesn’t have a look. People are going to love who they love and like who they like,” he added.
