President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has been dubbed the worst president Ghana has ever had under the fourth republic by actress and reality show star Éfia Odo.
Her remarks follow the announcement that the second tranche of funding from the International Monetary Fund has been authorized and will be released.
Efia Odo found it incomprehensible that the government of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo had abandoned its pledge to avoid seeking assistance from the IMF.
“With all due respect, this man is the worst president in Ghanaian history,” she tweeted about X.
Ghana has been granted approval for the second tranche of US$600 million by the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
This was disclosed by the IMF Ghana Country Director on Friday, January 19, 2024, at a joint press conference.
