Amidst the highly publicised and serious Guinness World Record attempts by Executive Chef Faila and Afua Asantewaa O Aduonum, it is a Ghanaian no one has ever heard of who has officially broken a record.
Evans Aryee, a Belgium-based Ghanaian strongman and powerlifter, has broken the record for the fastest 400 kg incline frame carry over ten meters.
His attempt was carried out on January 26, 2024, in Milan, Italy, where he finished the challenge on the Lo Show Dei Record in under 8.07 seconds.
Guinness has reportedly certified his attempt, making him an official world record holder.

This historic win for Evans Aryee comes as many Ghanaians make attempts to break Guinness world records.
The aforementioned Afua Asantewaa and Chef Faila are both awaiting word from Guinness World Records on their respective sing-a-thon and cook-a-thon attempts.
Meanwhile, other jokers have also started attempts such as a stand-a-thon, a kiss-a-thon and a water-a-thon!
