Diddy was charged in 1991 for drugging and sexually abusing a lady after a date. There are fresh claims of sexual assault against Sean “Diddy” Combs.

In a lawsuit submitted in a New York court on Thursday, Nov. 23, the three-time Grammy Award-winning rapper and producer is charged with drugging and sexually abusing a college student in 1991. This is the second such lawsuit the hip-hop entrepreneur has faced in the last week.

Before a unique one-year window for such accusations expires, a rush of lawsuits under the Adult Survivors Act of New York state were filed this week against popular celebrities, including Diddy, 54.

Even after the statute of limitations has expired, the law permits these lawsuits to be brought in court.

The lawsuit claims that in January 1991, while Joi Dickerson-Neal was a student at Syracuse University on a visit to New York City, Diddy purposefully gave her drugs and engaged in sexual abuse.

Combs is also charged with filming the purported crime and releasing the recording to other musicians.

Attorneys for Ms. Dickerson-Neal stated in the complaint that “the sexual assault, and public exposure of it, caused her to suffer overwhelming feelings of humiliation, embarrassment, violation, and constant apprehension about who all viewed it.”

According to the case, Ms. Dickerson-Neal is requesting specific compensatory damages for grief, mental and emotional harm, pain and suffering, and reputational harm.

According to a Diddy representative, Ms. Dickerson-story Neal’s is “made up and not credible,” and the rapper never hit her.

The representative said in an email “This is merely a money grab and nothing more.”

A week after Diddy resolved a lawsuit brought by R&B singer Cassandra Ventura, his ex-girlfriend, the complaint was made against him.
