Latin Billboard Winners 2023

The Latin Billboard awards for 2023 just came off and saw three artists being the main winners – Peso Pluma, Bad Bunny and Carol G.

The Billboard Latin Music Awards was held at the Watsco Center in Miami, on the night of Thursday, October 5th 2023.

“Ella Baila Sola” singer Peso Pluma took home a total of eight awards including best new artist, songwriter of the year and best solo regional Mexican artist.

Hot on his heels was Bad Bunny who won seven awards including artist of year, tour of the year, sales song of the year and Latin rhythm artist of the year.

Rounding out the top three major winners was  Karol G with five awards and regional Mexican group Eslabon Armado with four awards.

The 30th Billboard Latin Music Awards—presented by Billboard to choose winners of the most popular albums, songs and performers in Latin music—were held at the Watsco Center in Coral Gables, Florida on October 5, 2023.

The ceremony was broadcast on Telemundo, Universo and streaming service Peacock.

For the first time in the awards ceremony were added four categories: the Global 200 Latin Artist of the Year and the Global 200 Latin Song of the Year, to celebrate Latin artists and their songs that have achieved success on the Billboard Global 200, and the Streaming Song of the Year and Sales Song of the Year.

Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Ivy Queen received the Icon Award at the ceremony, while Mexican group Los Angeles Azules was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Karol G was the recipient of the Spirit of Hope award.
